OEG gambling operator sues Riga officials

24 October 2017
Trying to protect its 7 venues from closing, the Olympic Entertainment Group (OEG) gambling operator has brought a case to court on Riga City Council.
The OEG media office said that its subsidiary obtained an official notice, demanding to close 2 gambling halls in Riga by the fall 2022. The fear is that one will submit the same claim regarding another 5 venues soon.
Therefore, OEG has gone to law, claiming to invalidate the Council’s decision. According to the operator, it contradicts the Latvian legislation.
