In spring of 2017, the Latvian government adopted the bill aimed to relocate gambling facilities from the historical part of the city, and in summer, it started to prepare the tax reform, which would touch gambling, among other things. The existing casinos and slot machine halls will have to adapt to new laws, and new market players – to factor in the changed conditions. In his presentation, Vladimirs Remi, an expert on financial consulting, will reveal financial and legal aspects important for the new community members.

Vladimirs Remi is a financial expert with more than eight years of experience. He started his career in the industry in 2008, when together with partners they founded a payment system startup. Later, he worked for WebMoney Transfer, several other payment systems, and acquiring banks in Latvia. The expert believes that the position of vice president at WebShiled Limited, MasterCard’s security partner, was a milestone in his career.

Currently, Vladimirs Remi is running a family business in the field of financial consulting and development of financial technologies.
