The Ministry of Finance of Latvia announced that the development of cash receipt lottery conditions would be completed by December 1, 2018.

In this regard, one provided financing of 200 000 EUR to be used for improving information technologies of the State Revenue Service. 250 000 EUR will be given for the period from 2019 to 2020. Investments will be spent to implement the lottery and establish the prize pool.

According to the Ministry of Finance, the key task now is a practical implementation of innovations.

The reason for the introduction of the national cash receipt lottery is the attraction of additional funds to the state budget by means of increasing tax revenue.
