The UK Gambling Commission (UKGC) is to revise the existing licenses of online casino operators. Twelve companies received warnings, since UKGC had suspicions of reducing social responsibility and money laundering about them.

UKGC is going to check all online gambling companies licensed in the UK. The Commission is investigating 17 operators now, with 5 of them under license review.

The initiative is coming following the active growth of online gambling industry, accounting for one third of the country's entire gambling market. Companies are suspected of operating illegal financial schemes that undermines the consumer protection principles, which UKGC follows.
