Mr Green comes up with a service to detect problem gamblers among customers

14 September 2017

Mr Green, Sweden-based gaming operator, is getting ready to launch the program that will help to detect customers prone to online gambling addiction at early stages. The tool is called Green Gaming. The service will be launched in the UK market first.

To detect the symptoms of gambling addiction, customers will be obliged to answer questions on what they consider ‘healthy’ gambling, and what – not. Further, answers will be compared with their real behavior on the online gambling resource.

In case the tool detects that answers of the user and his or her real behavior do not coincide at some point, the player will be sent a warning message. Upon the detection of customers in the risk zone, the service will limit their gambling activity in terms of time spent playing and deposits or block access to the website for a specified time period.
