It has transpired that the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania is discussing legislative amendments that will lead to ban on any kind of gambling promotion. This rule will have only several exceptions, which are still unrevealed.

Besides direct advertising, gambling companies are not allowed to disseminate sponsorship information. It refers to financing of private and legal entities as well as all public events.

The country is also combating gambling addiction among minors. They are not allowed to enter any land-based gambling venues and specialized online resources.

Identities of all players and visitors will be verified and registered. If players win more than €1000 in casinos, one will conduct re-registration.
